"WILL HOLLOW PLAY AT PRIVATE EVENTS?"

This was a question I was recently asked at the Brickmakers in Norwich...

Well, the good news is the answer is "yes" - but, of course, the venue has to be suitable. 

As we all know, Hollow Earth is a big sound that comes to you through quite a lot of equipment and that is obviously important in planning your event. So, if you have the venue and you like what we do, rest assured we can entertain your audience!

"Is it expensive to book the band?"

The simple answer is, "talk to me". You might be pleasantly surprised as to how adaptable the band can be and that is achieved because it is made up of five excellent musicians who just love playing and who get a buzz from seeing audiences enjoying what they are doing...

"KEEP DOING WHAT YOU'RE DOING!"

Another great night at the Brickmakers in Norwich saw fans old and new enjoying the 'now expected' fabulous atmosphere created by the music of Hollow Earth.

The venue's new light and PA systems added to this with the band playing some sparkling renditions of favourite numbers from Genesis, Pink Floyd, Yes, LZ and, of course a couple of Hollow's own compositions, included on the new CD that goes on sale at the end of August.

I spoke with many people in the audience to get feedback on the band's performance and there was not a complaint in the house. Two young ladies, Janet and Charlie, who were watching Hollow for the first time described the band as, "brilliant, absolutely brilliant!" and summing up the night, a regular follower had this message for our musicians, "just keep doing what you are doing - we love it!" 

So, a lull in the band's activities now will be followed by another big blast at a big venue - the Royal Norfolk Showground on Sunday 5 September - see you there!

Norfolk's fabulous 'end-of-summer' annual event at the Royal Norfolk Showground takes on a new dimension this year with a music festival arena...

And guess who will be headlining the outdoor show?

The exact details of this super new music event have not yet been released, so for now, just make a note in your diary of Sunday afternoon the 5th September 2010.
