HOLLOW EARTH TO FEATURE IN BIG CHARITY CONCERT
Hollow Earth and another of Norfolk's top musical acts, The Harvs www.theharvs.com, are to headline a charity concert at the county's best pop venue, the LCR at the University of East Anglia.
The big event will take place on Friday 16 April 2010, compered by BBC TV's Stewart White.
The concert has been organised to help form a new charity highlighting male cancers. When launched, it will be known as the Blue Ribbon Foundation and will be the 'brother' charity of the existing national charity, the Pink Ribbon Foundation. It is hoped blue ribbons will become synonymous with male cancers in the same way pink ribbons are with breast cancer.
Tickets, which will be £10 each, go on sale in the next few weeks, details will be provided on this website. In the meantime, any questions about the event can be emailed to mel.lacey@talktalk.net
'LADY OF THE LAKE' GIG
It seems as though the weather has won this one by a knock-out!
The January gig at the Lady of the Lake, which was cancelled due to treacherous road conditions at the time, cannot be re-scheduled due to a full diary at the Oulton Broad pub.
BUT do not fret too much as our next scheduled gig there is Saturday 8 May 2010, so not too long to wait!
In the meantime, why not come along to the BIG charity concert at the UEA on 16 April where we are headlining with the fabulous Harvs! Only a tenner and all the takings go towards a new male cancer charity...
FEBRUARY'S STUDIO NEWS
The band will be in the recording studios during February...
People at gigs have often asked if the band's own material could be made available on CD and now Kym, Stewart, Paul, Dave and Harry will be doing just that!
We hope Hollow Earth's first CD will be available later in the spring...
Just keep coming back to these pages for more information as it becomes available!
